The Allen Bradley SLC 500 advanced training course has been designed to familiarise Electricians, Technicians and Maintenance Engineers with previous experience of SLC 500 controllers to the higher level features associated with the operation and maintenance of SLC 500 controllers and RSLogix 500 programming software.
Where possible, application specific exercises, actual drawings and plant programs will be used to allow the students to gain the greatest possible benefit from the course.
Creating the level advanced course training project and basic topic revision.
Ladder programming exercises using higher level instructions, including;
Introduction to files.
File arithmetic and logic instructions.
File search and compare functions.
Fault routines and selectable timed instructions.
Block transfer instructions.
Indirect programming techniques.
Configuring communications as used on plant.
Using the MSG instruction for network communications
Setting up a PanelView HMI to the SLC 500 system
