We can provide our training courses either at your site or at our Office and Training Centre in New Romney serving the South of England or Stafford for the North and Midlands. We also have a network of training venues located in and around cities throughout the UK. Training at your site is normally the most cost efficient in terms of expenses, it can also make the course more specific as plant visits and exercises may also be included as part of the course. We can now offer virtual PLC training courses on all of our current PLC courses, you can attend from the comfort of your own home, no travel, no accommodation charges and still the same great training.
For courses that we run at your site, ideally we should have a room big enough to have a table or desk per student. This will allow each student to have enough space for their own individual PLC training rig, plant simulator, laptop computers and somewhere for their training manual to rest. If you do have an LCD projector and white board set up this is ideal but not necessary, as we can bring our own. We will however require a standard 3 pin UK 240v ac mains socket to provide power, but we will bring all of the interconnecting equipment required for the course, including all extension leads etc.
Travel to Folkestone West from central London by HS1 from St Pancras can take as little as 51 minutes. Folkestone West is just a mile from our training centre. We would be able to arrange a local pick up from Folkestone West Railway Station to our Training Centre. By car we are just off junction 13 of the M20.
Folkestone has a wide variety of hotels of all stars and ratings. However, most of our students stay at the Premier Inn located around the corner from our Training Centre. It is a 5 minute walk from door to door. The premier Inn website is available here: Premier Inn Folkestone Channel Tunnel. All hotel accommodation bookings are the responsibility of the individual students. Our Midlands, Stafford Office and Training Centre is based at Dunston Business Village, this is located on a prime site south of Stafford, just off Junction 13 of the M6 motorway and less than five minutes from the start of the M6 Toll. By rail it is 5 minutes to Penkridge Railway Station and 8 minutes to Stafford Railway Station, both of these stations are on the Birmingham main line.

Our courses are normally scheduled to run from 09:00 to 16:30 at our training centres, but we are flexible when we run courses at your site. If we need to fit around your shift pattern then we can tailor the start and finish times to suit, we will of course confirm these details when the course booking is made.
All of our training courses that we provide at our own training locations include lunch and the provision of tea/coffee and biscuits during morning and afternoon breaks. Courses undertaken at customer sites do not include lunch or refreshments.
Yes we can, this is one of our company strengths and we can use our extensive industrial PLC experience to develop a specific tailored training course for your exact plant control system or specific student requirements.
As a training company we tend to deal with running training courses with multiple students from within the Maintenance or Project Departments of a single company. These courses are then run as individual courses specifically for these customers. We can and have run training courses for individuals, but often the cost of such a course can be prohibitive. However with a single student the course can be tailored much more specifically and often we can cover the same training material in a smaller amount of time, thus offering a saving in cost here. The training will also be tailored to your individual exact requirements so we can be much more specific in targeting your training objectives. Because we run courses specifically to customer order, we do not issue a schedule of public courses, all of our courses are run to specific individual customer orders. We provide our courses either at your site or at our regional Training Centre’s, we have a minimum training day rate set for up to 3 students attending these courses. This price will be plus expenses (Instructors travel/mileage and hotel costs) if we provide the course at your site. Mileage is charged per mile (inclusive of Instructors travel time). For this reason we will always provide you a quotation for the training course you require at a specific location. Yes we can, we can arrange for our training equipment to be shipped out to you to run the training course at your location more or less anywhere worldwide. The logistics of the transportation of equipment to your site will add to the cost but this is usually a lot cheaper than sending all of your students to the UK for training.
