This WinCC Flex training course has been designed to give Engineers an insight into the configuration and operation of the Siemens WinCC Flex software coupled with Siemens HMI products. The course will guide students through the basic design and configuration of the HMI systems through to the operation and integration into the PLC control system.

Where possible, application specific exercises, actual drawings and plant projects will be used to allow the students to gain the greatest possible benefit from this course.

Objectives

• To introduce students to the concepts and operation of Siemens HMI’s and WinCC Flex programming software.

• To be able to understand the structure of the HMI project in the WinCC Flex programming software.

• To be able to use the WinCC Flex programming software to create and develop a basic project and to be able to modify existing WinCC Flex HMI projects.

• To be able to restore a project backup into the Siemens HMI from a backup copy.

HMI security and allowing access to specific pictures.
